Andrew Eckhardt was born in Brisbane, Australia. He was raised in Johannesburg, South Africa; Bonn, Germany; Brisbane, Australia; and Avon, Connecticut; and currently lives in Sandwich, Massachusetts. In 2018 he graduated from Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a Bachelor’s degree in printmaking. After working at Muskat Studios and completing the restoration and installation of a period room at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston he attended Tamarind Institute where he completed the Printer Training Program in 2020. He is currently an MFA candidate in the printmaking program at Rhode Island School of Design
